Will this sauna run on a UK 13A socket?

Larger traditional cabins draw 6-8 kW and need a dedicated spur from the consumer unit. The 13A socket is reserved for infrared. We confirm the right circuit on every order before delivery.

How much space do I need indoors?

Cabin footprint is 180cm*120cm/180cm*150cm/180cm*180cm/180cm*240cm; allow 30 cm clearance on three sides for ventilation. Ceiling height of at least 210 cm. Tile, sealed timber, or vinyl flooring is fine; carpet is not.

How is the wood-burning heater installed and certified?

Heater is HETAS-compliant when fitted by a registered installer, with a stainless flue extending 60 cm above any structure within 3 m horizontally. We provide the heater certificate and the installation guide; the actual flue fit needs a HETAS engineer.

How do I level the barrel sauna?

The barrel sits on two timber cradle saddles supplied with the cabin. The base must be level to within 5 mm across the full length. A paving-slab pad, timber deck, or compacted gravel all work; soft turf does not.

How is delivery and assembly handled?

Cabins ship as flat panels in a single crate. Lead time is 6–8 weeks. UK delivery is included to your kerbside; a Telos team handles indoor positioning and assembly for a flat fee. Most cabins assemble in 3–5 hours by two people.

Does the cabin fit through a standard doorway?

Yes. Our cabins ship in flat panels, each under 142 × 110 cm, and assemble inside the room. Our installer Tom completes the build in three to four hours.

What electrical supply does it need?

A dedicated 16-amp spur on a 230V supply for two-person cabins. Single-person cabins run from a regular 13A socket. We arrange a free pre-install electrical survey for every order.

Is the wood treated? Will it off-gas?

No treatment, no glue, no off-gassing. Built from FSC-certified Western red cedar, mortise-and-tenon joined, and finished only with food-grade tung oil where the bench meets skin.

How long does it take to warm up?

Twelve minutes from cold to 60°C in hybrid mode. Eight minutes in pure infrared mode.
