Two-person infrared saunas — sized for shared sessions.

A two-person cabin is the most popular size in our range, partly because the footprint is small enough to fit in a UK home but large enough to share, and partly because solo users appreciate the extra room. The internal bench accommodates two adults sitting upright with shoulder space between, or one adult lying down across the bench length on a quiet morning. Most two-person cabins measure around 142 × 110 cm externally and 195 cm tall.

The heating system runs slightly differently from a one-person cabin. Two-person builds typically use six to seven carbon panels — back, sides, calves, front-leg and floor — and total draw sits around 2.0 kW. From cold, the cabin reaches a working 60°C in twenty-five to thirty minutes. The thermostat is digital and holds the target temperature within ±2°C through the session.

UK installation is straightforward. The cabin arrives in five or six panels and slots through a 76 cm internal door without modification. Ceiling clearance of 200 cm is comfortable; 195 cm is the absolute minimum. The cabin can be wired into a 13A plug from a standard ring main, though we recommend a dedicated 16A spur on a separate consumer-unit circuit if the cabin will be used for sessions longer than ninety minutes — uncommon, but worth raising for the few households who want to share back-to-back sessions.

FAQ · 2 Person Infrared Saunas

Asked & answered.

The questions we get most about 2 person infrared saunas. Anything missing, the phone is the quickest way through.

Can two adults sit in a two-person cabin without touching?

The bench is typically 130 cm wide internally — enough for two adults with around 10 cm between shoulders. Larger frames will sit closer; smaller frames sit comfortably apart. Couples who want a more spacious shared session should look at the three-person cabin sizes.

How long is the warm-up time compared with a one-person?

Two-person cabins take around five to seven minutes longer to reach the same target temperature because there is more wood and air volume to heat. Twenty-five to thirty minutes from cold is typical. Once at temperature, the cabin holds it as efficiently as a one-person.

Will a two-person fit in a UK garage or outbuilding?

Garages work well if the space is dry, has a stable floor and runs above 5°C through the year. Outbuildings need a damp-proof concrete base and reasonable insulation to perform; cold ambient temperatures slow warm-up significantly and can shorten the cabin's life if condensation builds in the wood.

Do I need a dedicated electrical circuit?

For most households a standard 13A socket on the existing ring main is enough. If you intend to run the cabin for ninety minutes or more in a single use, a dedicated 16A spur is sensible — an electrician can fit one in under an hour from the consumer unit.

Can I add chromotherapy or near-infrared LEDs?

Most two-person cabins have a chromotherapy LED panel built into the ceiling and a near-infrared LED tower as an optional upgrade. Both run from the cabin's existing electrical supply. Adding either after the build is harder than ordering at the point of purchase.
