1. Product information
Specifications, country of origin, certifications and warranty terms are provided by the manufacturer or supplier of each product. We take care to publish them accurately, but manufacturers may change specifications. Images are supplied by manufacturers and may show optional extras. If a detail is important to you, please ask us to confirm it before ordering.
2. Health and safety
Saunas, heat therapy, ice baths, cold water immersion and light therapy devices are not suitable for everyone. Speak to your GP before use if you:
- are pregnant or might be pregnant;
- have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, an irregular heartbeat, circulatory problems or have had a stroke;
- have epilepsy, a respiratory condition or a kidney condition;
- take medication affecting blood pressure, heart rate, blood thinning or temperature regulation;
- have any other condition that could be affected by significant heat or cold.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on temperature, session length and frequency. Stay hydrated. Do not use these products after drinking alcohol. Children must only use them under close adult supervision, if the manufacturer permits it.

The products we sell are for general relaxation and wellbeing. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Content on this website, including our journal, is general information and not medical advice.
4. Electrical and installation safety
Many products need a dedicated electrical supply. Any fixed connection must be made by a qualified electrician in line with BS 7671. Wood-burning heaters and flues must be installed in line with Building Regulations. Do not exceed the rating of a standard 13A socket.
