What size of tub does this chiller cool?

This chiller is rated to cool 200–600 litres of water depending on ambient temperature. A typical 350 L cold plunge from 18°C ambient down to 5°C takes 12–24 hours; after that the unit cycles briefly to maintain set temperature.

How cold can it get the water?

Set point range is roughly 3°C to 41°C. Most users sit at 4–8°C for daily plunges. Below 3°C the unit reaches its safety cut-off.

Does this chiller include filtration?

Yes — an integrated cartridge filter and circulation pump keep the water clear. The cartridge needs rinsing weekly under a garden hose and replacing every 3–4 months.

Will it run on a UK 13A socket?

Yes. The chiller draws under 1 kW peak and runs on a standard 110 V, 220 V 13A plug. No electrician needed.

How loud is the chiller in use?

Around 50 dB measured at one metre — quieter than a domestic fridge. Most users place the unit in a utility room, garage, or under a covered patio with the tub.

Does the cabin fit through a standard doorway?

Yes. Our cabins ship in flat panels, each under 142 × 110 cm, and assemble inside the room. Our installer Tom completes the build in three to four hours.

What electrical supply does it need?

A dedicated 16-amp spur on a 230V supply for two-person cabins. Single-person cabins run from a regular 13A socket. We arrange a free pre-install electrical survey for every order.

Is the wood treated? Will it off-gas?

No treatment, no glue, no off-gassing. Built from FSC-certified Western red cedar, mortise-and-tenon joined, and finished only with food-grade tung oil where the bench meets skin.

How long does it take to warm up?

Twelve minutes from cold to 60°C in hybrid mode. Eight minutes in pure infrared mode.

What's included in the price?
