Asked & answered

Will this sauna run on a UK 13A socket?
Yes — at peak draw of around around 2kW the cabin runs on a standard 13A plug for 1- and 2-person sizes. Larger 4-person and traditional cabins benefit from a dedicated 16A or 32A spur, fitted by a Part P-registered electrician.
What is the EMF level inside the cabin?
Carbon emitter panels read below 3 mG at the bench, well within the conservative low-EMF threshold most manufacturers publish. We test every cabin before dispatch and include the EMF reading in the delivery paperwork.
How long does the cabin take to warm up?
From cold to operating temperature (Infrared cabins typically run at 50–65°C) is roughly 10–15 minutes. Sweating begins within the first ten minutes once you are inside.
Can I leave this outside year-round in a British winter?
Yes. The solid wood cabin is treated for outdoor exposure and carries a 1 Year warranty against frame issues. We recommend a paving slab or timber deck base, and an insulated cover during the wettest months.
Do I need planning permission?
Free-standing garden saunas under 2.5 m height and 2 m from any boundary are typically permitted development. Within 2 m of a boundary, or for sizes above 15 m², check with your local authority. Wood-fired flues fall under Building Regulations Part J.

Note: this product is supplied by an OEM partner. Lead time, packaging, and white-glove delivery handled by Telos.

§ 04 — Asked & answered

Questions about this cabin.

Does the cabin fit through a standard doorway?

Yes. Our cabins ship in flat panels, each under 142 × 110 cm, and assemble inside the room. Our installer Tom completes the build in three to four hours.

What electrical supply does it need?

A dedicated 16-amp spur on a 230V supply for two-person cabins. Single-person cabins run from a regular 13A socket. We arrange a free pre-install electrical survey for every order.

Is the wood treated? Will it off-gas?

No treatment, no glue, no off-gassing. Built from FSC-certified Western red cedar, mortise-and-tenon joined, and finished only with food-grade tung oil where the bench meets skin.

How long does it take to warm up?

Twelve minutes from cold to 60°C in hybrid mode. Eight minutes in pure infrared mode.

What's included in the price?

The cabin itself, full installation by a Telos maker, a starter care kit, and the lifetime warranty. Delivery, install, and the 60-night home trial are included for every UK and Ireland postcode.
