Fonteyn Wren Outdoor Infrared Sauna
The Fonteyn Wren Outdoor Infrared Sauna is one of the most well-rounded outdoor sauna options available for UK gardens right now. Built as a proper garden sauna cabin with infrared heaters integrated directly into the structure, the Wren delivers targeted infrared heat that warms the body from the inside out rather than just heating the air around you. The result is a more comfortable, energy-efficient session that reaches effective heat levels faster than a conventional outdoor cabin and with noticeably less stuffiness inside.
What sets the Fonteyn Wren sauna apart from most outdoor infrared sauna cabin UK is that it does not make you choose between infrared and traditional heat. As an outdoor sauna, infrared and traditional combined unit, you get the deep tissue penetration and recovery benefits of infrared heating alongside the option to enjoy the fuller ambient heat of a conventional sauna session, depending on how you want to use it on any given day. The aspen wood outdoor sauna UK construction gives the cabin a clean, light, and naturally smooth interior finish. Aspen is a smart material choice for an infrared cabin because it stays cool to the touch even when the interior is well-heated, making for a far more comfortable experience than denser woods that absorb and radiate heat back at you. The full-spectrum infrared outdoor sauna heating system covers the complete range of therapeutic wavelengths, and the whole unit is built as a permanent garden infrared sauna with a heater included, so there is nothing extra to source or install separately once it arrives.
What owners say.
Questions about this cabin.
Does the cabin fit through a standard doorway?
Yes. Our cabins ship in flat panels, each under 142 × 110 cm, and assemble inside the room. Our installer Tom completes the build in three to four hours.
What electrical supply does it need?
A dedicated 16-amp spur on a 230V supply for two-person cabins. Single-person cabins run from a regular 13A socket. We arrange a free pre-install electrical survey for every order.
Is the wood treated? Will it off-gas?
No treatment, no glue, no off-gassing. Built from FSC-certified Western red cedar, mortise-and-tenon joined, and finished only with food-grade tung oil where the bench meets skin.
How long does it take to warm up?
Twelve minutes from cold to 60°C in hybrid mode. Eight minutes in pure infrared mode.
What's included in the price?
The cabin itself, full installation by a Telos maker, a starter care kit, and the lifetime warranty. Delivery, install, and the 60-night home trial are included for every UK and Ireland postcode.
